This initiative aims to promote youth entrepreneurship in the agribusiness sector through a selection process to choose award winners who can serve as role models and ambassadors for this agricultural sector. IICA is thus a sponsor of this Youth in Agribusiness Awards in Jamaica.

Objetivo General:

Promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and employment among youth in the agribusiness sector.

Objetivos Específicos:

Select awardees who serve as role models for young people and are ambassadors for the agricultural sector
Present the awards at the Delegation's annual Accountability Seminar
Incentivize awardees who serve as role models for young people and are ambassadors for the agricultural sector
The presentation and promotion of IICA Youth in Agribusiness Awards incentivizes awardees, and motivates other young individuals in the agribusiness sector

Resultados Esperados:

There is increased visibility for youth participation in agriculture through the recognition of the Youth in Agribusiness Awardee at IICA's Accountability Seminar
