The remarkable advances in animal biotech contrast with the absence of events for treating regulatory aspects in this field. That is why a group of biotech researchers, developers, regulators, and ad companies have met informally to discuss issues of common interest. The latest event was co-organized by IICA in Sao Paulo in 2022. For that, the University of California Davis, and IICA jointly proposed to carry out virtual and in-person events in animal biotech from 2024 to 2027.

Objetivo General:

To support the development of animal biotechnology regulation by conducting both virtual and in-person seminars.

Objetivos Específicos:

To carry out the II virtual hybrid seminar on animal biotech during year 2024.

Resultados Esperados:

Participantes seleccionados de las Américas, actualizados y concientizados en regulación de la biotecnología animal mediante la realización de un seminario virtual que permita considerar la eventual generación de regulaciones nacionales en el tema.
