IFAD will provide a contribution to the partner organization to highlight agri-tourism and its role in sustainable local economic development toward the SDGs, in order to garner support from key stakeholders in Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean region.
Objetivo General:
To promote and increase awareness among Canadian public, private, and civil society stakeholders about agricultural development and rural well-being, with emphasis on agri- and culinary tourism, which provide significant opportunities for diversified and improved livelihoods, enhanced food security, and food risk resilience in rural communities around the world, toward achieving the SDGs.
Objetivos Específicos:
  1. To plan, organize, and implement a high level, hybrid in person event to promote agri-tourism in the caribbean
Resultados Esperados:
  1. Stronger relationship and opportunity developmet with IFAD and Canadian Stakeholders working in international development in the americas.
