Introduce agritourism as a value addition activity associated with the agricultural productive sector through strengthening technical and vocational capacities of stakeholders so that they are optimally prepared to offer quality agritourism products creating rural employment and wealth while preserving the environment.

Objetivo General:

Production of a Policy and Roadmap for the development of an agritourism sector in Guyana that strengthens the resilience of the economy through the adoption of innovative and sustainable methodologies for opportunities in agricultural trade, environmental preservation and agritourism.

Objetivos Específicos:

Map the barriers, gaps, challenges and opportunities of developing agricultural tourism in Guyana.

Resultados Esperados:

The tourism sector in Guyana have a policy and roadmap to develop the agri-tourism sub-sector, as a new investment and income earner, especially in rural communities.
