Agricultural development in the Americas is very relevant in many countries of this continent, due to the leading role it plays in their economies, as is the example of Latin America, where the creation of strategic alliances that strengthen these productions is sought. Therefore, this agreement aims to promote and sensitize Canadians through public and private institutions mainly agricultural development, also the transformation of the food system, which can support the agricultural improvement of the countries of the American continent.

Objetivo General:

To promote and increase awareness of the Canadian public, private and civil society organization stakeholders about agricultural development and rural well-being in the Americas, including IFAD's work in some least developed countries, under-developed and developing countries.

Objetivos Específicos:

To plan, organize and implement a high-level hybrid in-person event to promote sustainable production and food system transformation in light of the challenges brought on by climate change.
