Supporting the Ministry of Agriculture, Land, and Fisheries in Avian Influenza Preparedness and Outbreak Management to safeguard the agricultural sector, preserve the local poultry industry, and ensure food security in Trinidad and Tobago.
Objetivo General:
To update and improve the Trinidad and Tobago Avian Influenza Contingency Plan (TTAICP) to safeguard the poultry population by containing and eradicating any potential Avian Influenza (AI) outbreak while minimizing the socioeconomic impact.
Resultados Esperados:
  1. An improved, and updated Avian Influenza Contingency Plan to facilitate the assurance that Trinidad and Tobago would be prepared for the management of an Avian Influenza disease outbreak.
