IICA will provide support to the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fishers (MALF) in dealing with a health emergency within the framework of the project "Request from the for Emergency Funding for Porcine Reproductive and REspirtory Syndrome Surveillance in Response to First Detection in Trinidad and Tobago", in which other partners such as FAO, CARDI, UWI, UTT, ADB are involved.
Objetivo General:
To provide support to MALF in the event of an emergency outbreak related with the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome and its surveillance through the acquisition of laboratory and field supplies.
Resultados Esperados:
  1. The Ministry has the required supplies to meet the requirements by the testing laboratories and the investment in biosecurity generated by the emergency of the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Surveillance.
