Objetivo General:
The project is designed to assist farmers on both the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama to re-enter the food chain in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.
Objetivos Específicos:
  1. To support farmers in training and small inputs for rebuilding and increasing production of key commodities post Hurricane Dorian
  2. To provide demonstration systems for continuous learning, capacity building and sustainability
  3. To increase the supply of fresh fruits and vegetables on the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama
  4. To provide support to the Ministry of Education's agriculture programme in select schools in Grand Bahama to foster the next generation of agricultural professional
  5. To introduce new innovative technology to Agricultural Science programme and farmers on both Abaco and Grand Bahama.
  6. To foster opportunities to explore new agribusiness options with climate smart agriculture as the back bone of their businesses
Resultados Esperados:
  1. Farmers are able to utilize demonstration systems for continuous learning , capacity building and sustainability
  2. Innovative technology is introduced and adopted by the Ministry of Education Agricultural Science programme and farmers on both Abaco and Grand Bahama
  3. Farmers are supported through training and small inputs in rebuilding and increasing production of key commodities post Hurricane Dorian
