This project aims to strengthen the foundations for climate-sensitive agriculture in the Caribbean through adaptation and mitigation with a focus on building more resilient food systems. In addition, expected results include the establishment of adequate capacities, systems and networks to support planning, programming and implementation of funded activities, development and dissemination of best practices with respect to institutional capacity development and coordination, direct access and project development.

Objetivo General:

Strengthen the foundation for climate responsive (adaptation and mitigation) agriculture in the Caribbean as an approach for building more resilient food systems.

Objetivos Específicos:

Increase capacity and networks to support the planning, programming and implementation of GCF-funded activities in agriculture.
Enhance strategic frameworks in target coutnries to address polciy gaps and enhance enabling environments.
Increase the number of quality multi-country concept notes on the agriculture sector in the Caribbean.
Disseminate best practices with respect to institutional capacity building, coordination and youth engagement in climate responsive agriculture.
Enhance strategic frameworks including NDCs in target countries to address policy gaps and enhance enabling environments.
Increase capacity in stakeholders, systems and networks to support the planning, programming and implementation of GCF-funded activities.
