Objetivo General:
Strengthen the foundation for climate responsive (adaptation and mitigation) agriculture in the Caribbean as an approach for building more resilient food systems.
Objetivos Específicos:
  1. Increase capacity and networks to support the planning, programming and implementation of GCF-funded activities in agriculture.
  2. Enhance strategic frameworks in target coutnries to address polciy gaps and enhance enabling environments.
  3. Increase the number of quality multi-country concept notes on the agriculture sector in the Caribbean.
  4. Disseminate best practices with respect to institutional capacity building, coordination and youth engagement in climate responsive agriculture.
  5. Enhance strategic frameworks including NDCs in target countries to address policy gaps and enhance enabling environments.
  6. Increase the number of quality multi-country concept notes on the agriculture sector in the Caribbean.
  7. Increase capacity in stakeholders, systems and networks to support the planning, programming and implementation of GCF-funded activities.
  8. Enhance strategic frameworks including NDCs in target countries to address policy gaps and enhance enabling environments.
  9. Increase the number of quality multi-country concept notes on the agriculture sector in the Caribbean.
  10. Increase capacity in stakeholders, systems and networks to support the planning, programming and implementation of GCF-funded activities.
Resultados Esperados:
  1. Relevant country stakeholders (which may include executing entities, civil society organizations and private sector) have established adequate capacity, systems and networks to support the planning, programming and implementation of GCF- funded activities.
  2. GCF recipient countries have developed or enhanced strategic frameworks to address policy gaps, improve sectoral expertise, and enhance enabling environments for GCF programming in low- emission investment.
  3. An increase in the number of quality project concept notes developed and submitted.
  4. Best practices with respect to institutional capacity building and coordination, direct access, and pipeline development are developed and disseminated to strengthen engagement by NDAs, DAEs, and delivery partners with the GCF.
