The USCO and IICA based on the 5 year cooperative agreement signed in 2020, will collaborate on a sequence of outreach activities, supported by administrative level institution building and policy level partnerships, to the member countries of the FAO / WHO Regional Coordinating Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean (CCLAC) to enhance the effective participation of those countries in the work of the Codex Alimentarius Commission and the technical committees that develop draft international standards for adoption by the Commission.
Objetivo General:
To promote the active and effective participation of the countries in the work of Codex Alimentarius (General Sessions and Codex Committees, and building effective national Codex structures).
Objetivos Específicos:
  1. To support the implementation of Capacity Building efforts and Partnership Workshops in Codex topics
  2. To support the active participation of the country delegates in the Codex Alimentarius meetings

  1. CCLAC member countries strategically aligned to support to efficiently negociate in the area of Codex Alimentarius
