Objetivo General:
Implement the pilot project for the use of the Third Party Assurance Program (TPA) in Central America (Belize and Honduras) to improve food safety, public health, food, and trade.
Objetivos Específicos:
  1. To assess the efectiveness of the vTPA approach in selected countries
Resultados Esperados:
  1. Increased awareness of regulatory authorities on how to assess and use data/information generated by vTPA programmes in Belize
  2. Improved food safety compliance of FBOs in selected value chains based on the use of a voluntary food safety capacity building programme in Belize
  3. Increased awareness of regulatory authorities on how to assess and use data/information generated by vTPA programme in Honduras
  4. Increased awareness of food safety regulators on the application of vTPA approaches in other countries
  5. Improved food safety compliance of FBOs in selected value chains based on the use of a voluntary food safety capacity building programme in Honduras
  6. Efficient managment, monitoring and evaluation implemented
