Objetivo General:
To utilize advances in information and communication technologies for farmer traceability and record-keeping in the domestic production and marketing of locally produced fresh and processed agriculture products from small and micro operators through Smart App and online marketing platform development.
Objetivos Específicos:
  1. To develop and/or acquire/adapt simple user-friendly smart phone Apps that will allow small-scale farmers to keep records on their crop management practices (for traceability) and financial activities (for business acumen and cost of production)
  2. To provide a training of trainers to MALF Extension, TCF, NAMDEVCO and ADB staff and farmer groups and other relevant organisations in the proper use of the APP for further training of farmers with a focus on these participating in TCF MAPS project
  3. To provide target-tailored support to ARC-TT and WHYFarm community-based organisations for the further development of their individual online marketing platforms to allow for increased product offerings, expanded customer base and accommodate online payments
  4. To develop a simple user-friendly smart App that will allow small-scale farmers to keep records on their crop management practices (for traceability) and financial activities (for business acumen and cost of production).

Resultados Esperados:
  1. Farmers, field officers and other institutional sector stakeholders have an IT-based user friendly platform for recording and tracking on-farm costs and production practices for traceability
  2. Farmers and agripreneurs collectives have developed their individual online marketing platforms to allow for increased reach, direct ordering and distribution and online payments.
