The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) in Canada engages in various activities aimed at enhancing agricultural practices and food security. Including: Partnerships and Agreements; Exchange of Knowledge; Research and Innovation for food safety and emerging livestock diseases in North America; Bioeconomy; Agribusiness Projects and Gender in Agriculture.
Objetivo General:
The purpose of the IICA in Canada is to be a modern and efficient institution supported by a platform of human resources and processes capable of mobilizing available knowledge in the hemisphere to achieve competitive, inclusive, and sustainable agriculture that takes advantage of opportunities to contribute to economic growth and development and promotes greater rural well-being and sustainable management of its natural capital.
